Hey everyone. Sorry that it has been a while. I have been busy with work and all the random things in the world. So today i thought I would do a nice long one just to kind of catch up and to give my thoughts on some items. First, let me start with something I came across on a couple of tech sites. It seems that someone has created a concept for a digital tattoo. Yes, you read that right, a digital tattoo. The way it works is basically, a small, thin, flexible strip of silicone/silicon is inserted into the arm through a small incision. This blue-tooth, yeah blue-tooth, device creates the display with a matrix of field producing pixels. It is powered by you, your own oxygen and glucose powers the device by having two tubes attached to an artery and a vein. So in short, you would have a screen projected out your arm that was synced to one of your blue tooth devices. Example, you could have it synced to your phone and a key pad would be displayed on your skin. You can turn it off too, so it isn't on all the time. I probably leave it on with some really cool pic, I mean isn't that the point of a tattoo. I am still a little on the fence about this one. Sounds cool and all, just don't know if I would actually get something like that. Moving on, second thing is a few games. Mario for Wii and Assassins Creed 2. So for the few Wii owners out there that actually play, besides me, we have been giving a new Mario. For starters, it has gone back to its roots as a side-scroller. Even though it is a side-scroller, it still is 3D and very visually stunning. Along with the normal items, there is now a penguin suit which allows you walk on ice, throw snow balls, slide on your belly, and swim with more grace. There is also a propeller suit which allows to fly higher and glide. There is a multi-player option allowing you play with three others. This is pretty cool considering you can race each other or battle to see who gets the most coins. Plus you just screw around and throw each other off ledges. If i remember, there are about eight worlds, with Bowser's world being the last. It is hard, but that is fixed with a new system where if you die 8 times on the level, a block appears that has Luigi complete that level for you. Cheating in my opinion. So if you own a Wii and are a fan of the old Mario games, get Super Mario Wii. Next we have Assassins Creed 2. Now for those who played the first one, let me say you will be ecstatic over this game and the new features. You play Ezio Auditor, a Italian youth who watches his father and two brothers hanged and vows revenge on the ones who betrayed his family. So Ezio goes about finding about his ancestry and the Assassins. New feature includes a weapon wheel, twin hidden blades, new purchasable weapons, clothing, and items, and you can swim. YEAH, no more drowning (poor Altair just never learned as a child). You are also in charge on a small city/town/villa which you can renovate and upgrade to create a cash flow for all your upgrades and for cheaper store items in your city. Story wise, I am not even sure as to the whole story yet, cause for one I haven't finished yet and two there is an underlying story with Desmond discovering hidden data files which were inserted in the Animos core by the subject before him. So yeah, there is a lot to this game. Customization, great story line/game play, and just overall a marvelous game. I would highly recommend this game to anyone. Well that is what I have been up to for the past few weeks. I will try to get back a regular schedule with posts. Well that is all for now. Later.

When Windows Vista came out, many people were happy with it and others not so much. Many people felt there were a lot of annoying features like the user account control that kept popping up when every you did something. It was a nice idea, but if you know your doing something to your computer, you don;t need to be warned unless it is done by someone else. So anyway, there were problems. Well, now we have Windows 7 and as most people are saying, this is Vista done right, and their right. Right off you have more customization of your desktop with themes that you can download or even create your own. If your like me and you change your background every two seconds, while it does that automatically for you. When you create your theme, you can set it so a folder containing every wallpaper you own is used and the wallpapers will shift depending upon the time setting you want, every second or ten and so forth. Aero for 7 has some nice updates. You still have that Aero screen selector where you can shift between open windows. Now you have viewers for open apps, so when move your mouse over the taskbar area and just hover over the app, you get a little window. Then if you hover over that window you get a full screen view without have to select it or close the other app and when you move the mouse off, the app or window you were in is still there. There are many more changes that just make using Windows much more enjoyable and fun. Integrated search in the start menu, new look and features for the taskbar, and much more control over setting that affect your computer, like User Account Control setting that fit your paranoia or lack there of. So if you want a better version of Vista, get 7. It looks better, runs better, and gets rid off all that frustrating stuff that drives vista users mad.

Ratchet and Clank: Crack in Time
I recently got the new Ratchet and Clank game, I am love it. I am already a fan of the series and this game does not disappoint. Visually, it is beautiful. Vibrant colors, well animated, and even when the screen is loaded with movement, no skipping or slowing down. Game play has been divided a bit, due to the fact that Ratchet and Clank are separated. Ratchet is all about the guns and fighting, with most of his sections focused on blowing the your enemies away. A cool feature is the introduction of three customizable weapons, a pistol, grenade thrower, and shotgun. In previous games, you either had trees for customization or few upgrades. In this one, the three guns have changeable parts that you can switch out to make a weapon that fits your style more. Example, the pistol can have single, rapid, or charged shots depending on how you feel at the time. Sadly it is only the three guns that have is feature, the other guns have a simple leveling feature, the get more powerful over time and experience. Clank sections focus around puzzle solving feature temporal duplicates that aid you with each puzzle. Clank is also able to slow down time, either to solve puzzle or in fights. Clank doesn't destroy things like his counter part, instead he is able to fix objects with his Chrono specter. I won't give much away in terms of story, but it picks up right where Tools and Quest for Booty left off. I recommend this if you are a fan of the series and if not, i still recommend this game for anyone looking for a great game.

So for this week, I don't really of much of a topic. I tried to think of one or find something interesting to talk about but i couldn't really find one. I did recently get Halo: ODST for 360 and I am really liking the different feel of the game compared to the other Halo games. So for those who don't know, in ODST you play a trooper, not master chief, which means you can't just gun and run it anymore. You actually need to play more like a recon or scout, hiding in the shadows and keeping your distance. You don;t have shields, but stamina instead but that doesn't even really help, you can die pretty easily if your not careful. You mostly fight Brutes and grunts, a few jackals, no elites. There are also a new unit, unfortunately I don't remember their name. These guys don't really attack, they instead bolster your enemy with over-shields making it harder to fight. The game takes place in a open world environment with areas or points that you have to make it to in order to progress the game. At these points, you find clues about other team members and get to play their story line until you have to go find another clue. Mostly thou, you play the rookie in the open world looking for your squad which you have been separated from for quite some time, 6 hours if I recall. I haven't finished it yet, but so far I am liking what I playing. I like the feel of actual danger with my character due to the fact i am not some Spartan equipped to the teeth, but just a normal human with little weapons and ammo. I also like the fact that it is a bit more of a sneaking and recon game that involves a bit more strategy on the players part in order to make it your next objective. Also with the game, you get all the the Halo 3 multi-player maps so you can enjoy both the ODST multi-player and the original. SO if you want a great Halo game, I recommend this one. Yes it is a bit different, but worth it.

As many people know, PMV/PMDs or Personal Mobility Vehicles/Devices have been around for a while now with things like the Segway. Now we have Honda coming out with this uncomfortable unicycle that can move in any direction by simply leaning in the direction you want to go. The U3-X as they call it is pretty small and light weight they say and would be used in airports and hotels. Now don't get me wrong, I like the idea that technology keeps advancing and coming up with really cool stuff, Honda was even the company that came up with the Asimo. Computers today are even getting smaller and faster and are able to do some pretty cool things. Even look at cell phone and mp3 devices, they are becoming computers. Recently thou, a new PMD came to my attention that really showed me that technology will eventually turn man kind into a bunch of fat lazy people who do absolutely nothing. Toyota has created and in fact are already building their own PMD known as the I-Real. In essence, the I-Real is a motorized wheel chair that can either move at walking speeds or lower itself for speeds up to 20 mph. Yeah, 20 mph, that is one fast moving chair. The thing about this chair that kills me is not the speed or the design or anything like that, because it is a really cool looking chair. It is the electronics on this thing. At the push of a button this chair can tell you where the nearest type of store is. For instance, say you want to go the market, you push a button and the chair tells you where the closest one is. After that you can push another button to tell other I-Real chairs that you are going to the market and ask if anyone wants to come. Now that is ridiculous. All it needs now is a phone and a computer and you would have reason to leave that chair ever. Seriously, if anyone has ever seen the movie "Walle" knows what I am talking about. Now I wouldn't mind if this thing replaced cars in small cities or rural areas where you really don't need to travel a great distance, but the fact that it can talk to other chairs and that whole bit is a little much. I will be watching this one closely just cause i get the feeling they are going to go nuts with this. If you want to see it actually move and some more of the functionality of it, Top Gear on BBC did a special on it which can be seen here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IT7qK1hrro. Well thats all for now, Later.

There is an interesting message on one of the churches in my neighborhood. It reads "God does not believe in atheist, therefore they don't exist". Now when i first read this, my initial reaction was just wow, really, you really put that up there. Now i know what they are trying to say but they could say it in a better way. I am sure i am not the only one who notices those church boards as you go to work or go shopping or whatever and when you read them you can't help but laugh or be in shock at the message. To ministers and priest or to the people who actually put those messages up, just read it a few times before leaving it up there. Many people like me will mostly likely pick it apart or take it a face value and it just sounds wrong or poorly put. Back to the message, I get it, I even get that you might be implying that there is no such thing as a true atheist. Seriously though, be careful with these messages, people can really take it too personal and might retaliate. And just so people know, I am agnostic, not atheist. To me religion is fine, just don't take to the point of fundamentalism. Anyway, I just notice all the time when churches put these messages up and the just come off being really ridiculous or improperly phrased. Do it sometime, you might be surprised at what you read. Later.
P.S. Oh this blog will now have at least one weekly entry in it for anyone who cares. It will be about anything that come to mind.

So I recently had the opportunity to see the new Dragonball movie. And yes, this movie is not out in America yet, but it is already out overseas. So naturally, I found a bootleg version floating on the internet. And after watching it, I really wish I didn't waste my time with it. Honestly, it was bad, really bad. The plot tried to follow the orginal but in a really dumb way. Goku is a teenager, Roshi was ok at first but got worse as the movie went on, and Piccolo was not as evil or Nemekian as people wanted him to be. Oh and Goku does turn into Ozaru, the great ape form, but it is more like a retarded looking gorilla. There is no Krilin or any other characters except Chi-chi, Yamcha, and Bulma. The movie should just not have been made. If movie is going to be made based off a famous anime or manga, then it should be based off the anime or manga. Why can't studios actually create a decent movie when it is based off a anime or manga or even video game? Yes, there are a few good movie based on a popular franchise like Transformers. The movie should have had a kid goku, krilin, bulma, yamcha, more perverted roshi, chi-chi, and had Pilof as the main enemy. Or hey, do it off the Z series, with the Saiyan saga as the plot. That would have made better movie. I just can't figure out why the studio couldn't make a decent movie. Oh, i know why, they just put together a movie a threw it out there. If they actually took the time, actually based it off the series, and made the characters who they were suppose to be, this movie would have been pretty good. Oh well, it will just become a new 5 dollar movie that nobody even wants to rent.
